FAQs

The distance from which you should shoot at a target depends on several factors, including the type of firearm being used, the shooting discipline, and personal experience level.
For handgun shooting, distances can range from 3 to 25 yards. Beginners often start at shorter ranges to build confidence and accuracy before progressing to longer distances. Intermediate and advanced shooters typically engage targets between 10 and 25 yards, allowing for skill development and practice in various scenarios.
For rifles, distances vary greatly depending on the caliber and intended purpose. Common shooting distances for intermediate rifle training typically range from 25 to 100 yards. However, long-range shooting can extend the distance to several hundred yards or more, especially in competitive contexts.
In competitive shooting, specific events may dictate target distances. Always consult the rules of the event or discipline for guidance on appropriate distances.
Regardless of the shooting situation, ensure you are comfortable with your chosen distance and that the area is secure, as safety should always be the top priority when handling firearms.

The founder has formulated a special proprietary recipe that our rubber
manufacturer uses for us when producing our materials. It is used in conjunction
with recycled tires and vulcanized for durability and longevity.
-
Excellent question. Our targets are made from a proprietary rubber formula that
allows the bullets to pass through the target and then due to the velocity of the
bullets, allows the rubber to heat up due to the friction and then re-seal itself,
leaving a very very small pin hole if any once the bullet passes through.
Then once you are ready, simply paint the target surface again and continue
shooting. That’s why our Tag Line is….Safe - Simple - Re-usable
-
We are always testing our targets to ensure the best possible results for our
products and so far we have consistently getting 3000+ rounds of various
calibers.
-
YES 100% Weather proof. In fact, several of our first test targets have been left
outside for over 3 years in the harshest of conditions in East TN, ranging from
sub freezing temperatures and high heat and humidity AND NOTHING happens
to them. They still hold up to the abuse.
-
The short answer, ALL OF THEM. We have tested everything from 22lr all the
way up to 300 Win Mag and 458 Socom. HOWEVER, we do NOT recommend
Slugs, Buckshot, Hollow points or Wad Cutters. They will greatly reduce the
longevity of our targets.
-
Nope, our only recommendation is that you use white or some other very bright
color so you are able to see a pronounced shot indication spot where your bullet
impacted the target. Of course some paints work better than others, at our
private test facility we will use Rustoleum Painters 2x in white.
-
NO, Our targets are PERFECT for close proximity shooting, CQB etc. That was
the original purpose of the creation of our targets. The founder wanted to find a
product that would allow for users to shoot up close and personal or within close
proximity of the targets without the concerns of a ricochet. Because the only
options were very expensive or just paper and cardboard, he decided it was time
to create our own.
